  • Part One

When will DooM Resurrection be released? (1.0)
DooM Resurrection does not currently have an exact release date, but a release by late November/early December is expected. You should be able to expect a hearty Christmas treat:)

What sort of gameplay will Resurrection feature? (1.1)
DooM Resurrection Episode one features a military style of gameplay where you are given objectives in your levels. What Resurrection is going for is a style of gameplay that will get you into the game like no other DooM TC has.

Will dooM Resurrection feature hubs? (1.2)
Episode one will not have hubs, but expect them in future episodes for sure!

What will we expect after episode one? (1.3)
I don't want to give too much away, but definately expect episode two of Resurrection to be even better than the first.

Will I be able to make my own addons for Resurrection? (1.4)
Sure you can. Just two things. One, you must give credit were applicable, and you cannot modify the original levels!

Will Resurrection be ported to other systems? (1.5)
I would really like this to be done, but I'm afraid I have no idea in how to do this. If someone thinks they can port Resurrection to other systems, email me and we'll discuss things.

Will there be new weapons/enemies in Resurrection? What will happen to the older enemies? (1.6)
There will be lots of new weapons and enemies in DooM Resurrection. There won't be too much new in episode one (two new weapons and a new enemy or two), but in future episodes expect alot of new things.

As for the old enemies, since I'm predicting DoomScript will allow to add enemies or weapons without messing with the old ones, the old enemies and weapons will be kept! I'm also going to hope that DoomScript will allow weapon upgrades, player upgrades (High Jump, Half damage, etc.), and other additions.

Will there be multiplayer support? (1.6)
Maybe. I'm thinking about adding a couple deathmatch levels to DooM Resurrection, but that is time pending. Single player will be the main priority!!!

Can I join the team? (1.7)
Sure, check out this page and see if there's anything you can help with.

    Part Two

Why are you making all the monsters tougher?
There are a couple reasons for this. The first being that the weaker monsters seem too easy to take out with the weaponry disposed in your arsenal, especially with the RCP-90 and railgun. The enemies aren't too much tougher, but your aiming will have to be a little more accurate, especially with your shotguns. The second reason I am doing this is to add a little variety to the game. I want to make something people have to adjust to, because everyone knows it takes only one shotgun shot to take down a sergeant. It still will only take a shot to take them out, but your shots are going to have to be ore accurate if you want that to happen.

If, for some reason I get complaints about this, I might consider putting the monsters HP's back to the originals, but their isn't much difference in their HP's in the first place, and I think it makes the game more fun (and challenging).
