Zdoom
In our opinion, Zdoom is the premier deathmatch
port of choice. It's a Windows-only port, and sports many of the traditional bug fixes that
you'd find in other releases. What sets it apart from the rest though is the sheer amount
of features that it offers: Boom linedef support, translucency, colored lighting, ACS
scripting, particle effects, poly-objects, TCP/IP play and much more are available at your
fingertips. It's a map editor's dream come true, and Zdoom's author
Randy Heit constantly works on new releases and updates.

Zdoom Homepage: Zdoom's official home, maintained by creator
Randy Heit. Has lots of resources available for download, and
is extremely helpful for anyone looking to break into the world of Zdoom-specific editing.
Doomserv: An awesome program that greatly simplifies playing Zdoom over
the Internet. Supports chat rooms, unique names, file transfer, and even multi-game support. This is a must download
if you want to hook up immediately with other Doom players on the net!
Jefferey Cuenco's Zdoom Launcher: This is a nifty
little utility that makes launching Zdoom games a piece of cake. Especially useful for people who want to start a
TCP/IP game over their LAN network and don't want to mess with those oh-so-thorny command line parameters.
The Skin Connection: Looking to spice up your Zdoom multiplayer
games? Check out the Skin Connection and download some new skins to dress yourself up in! Don't know
what a skin is? Check out our skin help section to find out more.
Alternate Zdoom railgun patch: No, it's not exactly a website, but it is an extremely
useful file that makes Zdoom's railgun compatible with particular Zdoom-only pwads. So far only Mike Tawney's
Q2DM1, Rage DM 1.1
and our very own FlashDM1 are supported.
